Will's 9 month Appt. and the Zoo!!!

Thursday we had Will's 9 month appt and I am happy to announce he is 19lbs and 29 inches 44cm head circumference and doing great with all his motor skills!! She said he was right on track with everything and him being so mobile is probably why he only gained a pound in 3 months! She gave the ok to do most table food and be careful with grapes!! Lexi on the other hand did not like the appt that much! I told the dr that she would be starting Pre-K in the fall and they passed a new thing on April 1st that all kids have to have Hep A vaccine before they are 18 months...well they didnt have to have this when Lexi was that young...so the Dr said i could just do that shot or alos get the chicken pox booster that way next year for her Kindergarten shots she would only need to have 3! SO we went ahead and got 2 shots...and let me tell you that was an awful experience!!! You would have thought someone cut Lexi's arm off!! They said she was a very strong little girl!! But on the upside, I get a shot record and we can get her enrolled in Pre-K 4!!!!

On Wed we went to the Zoo with a bunch of the mamas from church and their little ones!! It was a BEAUTIFUL day and just a nice get away from my days off of just sitting at home!!! Here are several pictures from the zoo and the dr appt!

UPDATE!!!

Sorry I have been MIA here lately!! We have been super busy! It is FINALLY starting to get nice here in Knoxville!!! My tulips are coming up, Sun is shining!!! We have started getting busier at work and Justin is getting his promotion!! Things are going GREAT!!! I will have more pictures coming Thursday because tomorrow we are going to the zoo and then Thursday we have Will's 9 month appt!! You read that right 9 MONTHS OLD!!!! I cant wait to see how much he weighs and how tall he is!! he is getting so long!! He is now a moving machine!! He can get anywhere!! Pulls up on EVERYTHING and has just recently starting standing on his own for like 5 seconds so I will guess he will be walking by his 1 year Birthday!! Which i have decided will be the weekend before his actual birthday since the weekend after is the 4th of July that way people will be in town for it :) I think we are going to do a Dinosaur theme!!! Cant wait!! Cant believe it is only 3 months away!!! This week Justins sister Brooke from Florida will be coming up ith her husband and her 4 kiddos for a 2 week visit!!! We are sooo excited we love them very much and cannot wait to spend a bunch of time with them!!

We also have an AMAZING Easter weekend planned with Family and celebrating the death and ressurectio of Jesus!!! What an AMAZING gift he gave us by dying on the Cross to save sinners like us AMAZING!!!! I will post a video that i absolutey LOVE!!!! Here are some pictures from the past several weeks!! HOLY Mackrel!!!

I am getting anxious and nervous about this week!! On Thursday my mom is coming to get Lexi and Will and then going back to her house for 8 DAYS!!! what will I do for 8 days without them!??? And on Saturday I am off to a Vet Conference in Vegas! I am excited about going because i have never been there and my boss is going to fly us over the grand canyon and we are touring that so i am soooo Excited for that!! I will definately come back with TONS of Pictures!! I am going to miss Lexi and Will like CRAZY!!! But this will also be a GREAT getawy for some "me" time!! I plan on doing a whole lot of NOTHING!!! Sleeping in eating good food and just hanging out and shopping :) I am nervous about flying just because i am not a big fan of it myself but anything to get a relaxing vacation!!!

On another Front Will had RSV and double ear infections last week and is completely better! Went back to the Dr. today and his ears are Fantastic and no signs of weezing!!! I am so glad he is better that way my mom doesnt have a sick whiny kid on top of crazy Lexi :) My mom has so much planned for them! They are going to make stepping stones for her garden and i think she might make me some as well and my mom said they have a few other surprises they are going to do!! Will is also getting his first two teeth!! They are slowly poking through the gums!! Poor thing is having a go with them tonight!!

Lexi is doing great! She is growing and amazing me every day!! Her vocabulary and conversation just keeps getting better and better!! And he attitude is also growing which i am not a fan of but we are working on that! Bed time is still a challenge with her but that is also getting better with time!!

Wll i better head to the bed! Got a full day tomorrow at work!! Can't wait to come back and update you all with Pictures!!! LOVE YOU ALL!!!

Hungry Hippo :)

My little man can eat!!! We have been attempting to wean from the breast to just the bottle (still breastmilk though!!!!) and it has been a struggle I have a very very stubborn little man!!! But on the other side he is liking the solids more! Here are a few pictures of him eating some butternut squash! He loves it!!! I am making my own babyfood and it is a lot easier than i thought it would be and he loves the great flavors of it!!! If you are interested in making your own babyfood here is a fabulous website BABYFOOD. The reason we are doing the bottle is because in about 2 weeks I am going to a veterinarian conference in Las Vegas!! and i will be gone away from him for about 7-8 days!! So I want him to take a bottle good for my mom!! They are going to have so much fun while at my moms! she has so many projects lined up for them to do and Lexi is super excited!!!We are going to fly over the Grand Canyon and then do a 2 hour bus tour of the Canyon! I am just so excited to go and see that and then to just see the Las Vegas Strip lit up at night!!! I will be taking tons of pictures!!! So be ready for a picture full blog upon my return!!

This Friday is my Birthday and Justin's is the 16th of February and I will be in Vegas for his bday and Valentines day so we are going to celebrate it this weekend! We are going to an amazing restaurant in Cleveland, TN then going to go down to Atlanta. Justin wants to go to a reptile show (he wants a snake but i am not too keen on that idea!!! ) and then we will go shopping at the mall for some clothes for me :) So we will have a fun Filled Weekend in Atlanta!! The kiddos will be staying with Michelle and i am hoping that Will does great with the bottle! This will be a big test!!! Well thats enough rambling for now! here are the babyfood pictures!!
